Explore the Festival of Lights and Holiday Market.
Grayslake fills an entire afternoon and evening with holiday programming, starting with Giving Trees at the Heritage Center, photos with Santa, and a lineup of downtown vendors. As the sun sets, families can catch the holiday parade on Center Street, hop on horse-drawn carriage rides, browse the Arts Alliance show, and take a spin on the Ferris wheel. The night wraps with the lighting of the town tree, creating a scene straight out of a Hallmark script… minus the small-town drama.

The lighting ceremony features a six-foot, 3D "60022" installation, plus live music from Rosie and the Rivets, a trackless train weaving through downtown, character meet-and-greets, and a full spread of crafts, carnival rides, sponsor activations, and food vendors.
