This musical theater production tells the story of 20 enslaved Africans who arrived in Point Comfort, Virginia, in 1619, and the 400-year journey that followed. Bring back the Roaring 20's this weekend at 28 Mile Distillery. Beginner swing lessons start at 6:30, followed by live music from Morry Sochat & the Special 20s and dancing from 8:00 until close. Come hungry to Arlington Ale House to taste specially-made chili recipes from over a dozen local restaurants and groups. Between bowls of chili, attendees can also bid on raffles and silent auctions throughout the event. Proceeds go to benefit several local charitable groups, and guests are encouraged to bring used pairs of eyeglasses, sunglasses, and hearing aids to a collection box for recycling.
